Instant Rabri Recipe

For Instant Rabri I sweared not to put all those vigorous efforts from traditions. So my recipe for rabri produced a delicious dessert in not more than 8 minutes. Moreover it is lower in fat content too.


Milk - 2 Cups
Bread slices - 2 nos.
Condensed milk - 1/4th cup
Sugar - 2 tbsp.
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp.
Yellow food colour - a pinch (optional)


1. Remove the bread edges and grind them.

2. In a heavy bottomed pan, boil milk and add the ground bread crumbs.

3. Stir quickly, and add condensed milk and sugar and cook on high flame for 5 minutes.

4. Remove from fire, and add cardamom powder and food color.
Mix well and cool.
You can refrigerate, or serve hot with jalebis
